PETER BRAUNHOLZ

Peter Braunholz (b. 1963) studied Music as well as German Philology and Film History and Theory. After working as live and studio musician (with Patricia Kaas a. o.), composer and music producer, he was a freelance author, graphic designer, and photographer for industrial firms (Google, Hoechst, Mercedes, Porsche, Stollwerck a.o.) and publishers, including Societäts-Verlag (F.A.Z.). Since 1999, he has concentrated on photographic art. His award-winning work has been shown worldwide including Musée du Louvre Paris, Arsenale di Venezia and other major art institutions. In 2018 he has been awarded as International Architecture Photographer of the Year. In 2019, he resumed working on music projects, on which you will find more information here.

Peter lives in Kronberg, a suburb of Frankfurt am Main/Germany, and in Bad Hofgastein/Austria.

TECHNIQUE

Peter works with medium format cameras by Fujifilm and exclusively uses fine art papers by german manufacturer Hahnemühle. His works are printed in highest quality with archive pigments on Epson 11880 printer.
