All the pretty mediterranean beach sections near Livorno have been given special names, according to the hotels they belong to, and displayed in capital letters at the top of the entrances. But what looks so dolled up during the busy summer and vacation times has a very different appeal in the winter. It reminds of a clown, exhausted from the show, still partly made-up, sitting in the garderobe and knowing it's end of the work day.
